My main research interested include social stratification, the sociology of youth and the sociology of education. I also have research interests in migration, subjective well being, populations, fertility, digital social research and the sociology of sport.
My methodological interests include the analysis of large-scale and complex social science datasets, administrative social science data, statistical modelling, longitudinal data, missing data methods and social networks.
